Welcome to the information section of the Leedstown
United Youth Football Club web site.
Leedstown United Youth Football Club was founded in 2005,
it was set up with the aim of providing the youth of the area with the
facillities to play football under qualified F. A. coaches and to enjoy the
experience. Mission Statement
Leedstown United Youth Football Club is a club committed to
forming a first class football organization working continually to improve the
skill level of the athletes while providing a positive and rewarding
atmosphere. This will be accomplished by teaching the proper fundamentals of
football and the mind-set of the game. Our philosophies are courtesy, respect,
fairness, good sportsmanship and team spirit. These philosophies shall be both
taught and demonstrated by the conduct of the coaches, parents and players. The
emphasis of the club is not on winning games but rather on the athletes putting
forth their best effort while being a team player. This experience will help
the players learn good principles and social values in life. To become a
successful organization we need to both individually and collectively work
together to achieve the stated goals.
All of the club teams and players currently train at
Leedstown Village Hall, Cornwall. The teams train all year round.
All training sessions are supervised by the clubs F. A. qualified
coaches. |
